What kind of charger does a Polestar use?

Polestar EVs do not have their own branded chargers. However, Polestar vehicles support both Type 2 connectors and CCS connectors, which are compatible with all home EV chargers on the market. This flexibility allows Polestar owners to use a wide range of charging infrastructure, whether at public charging stations or home installations.

How long does it take to charge a Polestar at home?

The time it takes to charge a Polestar at home depends on the Polestar model, the capacity of the charger and the type of charging equipment used. Using an 11kW AC charger, the Polestar 2 will go from 0-100% in 8 hours and the Polestar 3 and 4 will go from 0-100% in 11 hours.
